The Photographer
Laura left a career in organising events to manage a photography studio so that she could pursue her dream of making professional photography her career. Soon managing various photography studios, she gained extensive experience photographing children & families with glamour photography giving her more of a challenge and creative output. Wanting full creative control, she started her own part-time business which quickly grew as delighted customers referred her to family & friends for their photographic needs, culminating in Laura also offering professional wedding photography, according to Laura, the most creative & challenging photography there is! These days, Laura works full time from home with the great majority of bookings being weddings, some over a year in advance.

A Message from Laura
Photography has always been my passion. At 10 years of age, I would take photos with my father's treasured camera,...without him knowing.
I love being able to make my client feel totally at ease so they give me the 'real smiles'. I love creating something unique for each client based upon their personalities. Most of all, I love seeing my clients so happy with what I have created especially for them. Thoroughly prepared for any situation, I am confident with my equipment, all types of people and personalities, and the hectic schedules of weddings.
I give all my energy from start to finish for my clients. Starting at their professional photography consultation session, where I aim to understand their specific needs and wants, get to know their personalities and explain all their options. On their special day I use all my energy and enthusiasm to be everywhere something memorable is happening and to make my clients feel totally at ease and most of all have fun. After the session, I spend many hours perfecting the photos to a level I feel proud to deliver, while always trying to keep them as close as possible to the real image. I have been told countless times, I am my harshest critic. At the relaxed viewing, my clients repeatedly thank me with huge smiles on their faces. This is my reward.
I feel that I totally immerse myself in my clients' special day with many of my tears cried at beautiful weddings. I will go out of my way to help in any way that is photographic or otherwise. When you view your photos, I know in my heart, I have done all that I can to perfect your photos to your style and I am proud of them. If you would like extra editing, you only have to ask. I only charge what is neccessary and fair to cover my time and expenses, not to take advantage of someone's special time of their lives. Karma returns to me tenfold in my happy life!
