Hi, I'm Leanne

I'm a mother, wife, photographer and friend - based in Mount Isa, QLD, Australia.

I LOVE living in outback QLD! There's nothing better than heading out bush, feeling the sun on my skin and the red dirt beneath my feet. I love being still in the quiet, away from the busy-ness of everyday life, camera in hand, just soaking up the glory of nature's design.

I've always been a creative person. You name it, I've tried it! Photography though, is something special.

Every time I take my camera out, I feel empowered. I feel fulfilled, curious, inspired, and free! It's become a natural extension of who I am as a person, and I have this insatiable need to continuously learn and evolve my skillset.

I love completely immersing myself in photo shoots, capturing people's genuine laughter, hugs, silliness, and love. I want for people to see themselves the same way I see them: Precious and unique, funny and tender, magical and chaotic, and just so absolutely perfect in their own wonderful way! xx

"I am the taker of the photos. I am the receiver of the groans, the eye-rolls and 'hurry ups'. I am the one who disrupts the moments to capture them. And sometimes it's hard to be that person.

But I am also the holder of the memories...I am the one who keeps the precious proof. I am the bearer of the stories, the maker of the photo books that bring tears, laughter and love rushing into the room, each time they are opened. The eye rolls will be replaced one day with absolute all-consuming gratitude, for the image of a smiling face so missed and a memory returned home to stay.

A SESSION WITH ME...

Let's keep things relaxed and fun. I want you to be your authentic self around me, and feel comfortable enjoying our time together. Show me all the special things that make you who you are.

I'll have a plan in mind for our session, and can guide you into favourable poses etc, but sometimes (especially if there's kids involved), we'll have to go with the flow. Part of capturing kids naturally is allowing them to explore and play, so we'll definitely allow time for that.

I tailor sessions specifically for you and your individual needs. Whether you’re after a fun, outdoor photography session, or a calmer, more intimate and creative style of shoot, please be assured you've come to the right place.

LOCATIONS

MOUNT ISA, QLD

The majority of my sessions are held late in the afternoon, at various locations I've selected due to factors such as lighting and aesthetics. There's a range of different settings to choose from, such as outback/bush, greenery/long grasses, rocky outcrops, and of course creeks/water. I'm always happy to chat with you about potential locations which might be the most suitable for your individual needs, but of course I'm open to hearing any/all suggestions you might have too!
